Truck Service Announces the Retirement of Donna Baker After 33 Years of Service
We are both excited and saddened to announce that Donna Baker, Controller at Truck Service Inc., is retiring after 33 years with the company and over 44 years in the industry. Donna’s last day in the office was Friday, February 7, 2025, marking the end of an incredible career that has left an indelible mark on both Truck Service and the industry as a whole.
Donna’s journey with us began in the 1980s when she started in accounts payable with our predecessor company, Mid-Con Corp. Throughout her career, Donna’s hard work and commitment led to her promotion from staff accountant to accounting manager, and ultimately, to her current role as Controller at Truck Service, a position she has held since 2016. During her time with the company, Donna also earned her BS in Accounting, utilizing our tuition reimbursement program, further demonstrating her dedication to personal and professional growth.
Donna has been an invaluable part of the TSI family, contributing to the growth and success of our company since its inception. Her knowledge, expertise, and warm presence in the office will be deeply missed. Donna’s legacy will live on in the strength of the company she helped shape over the years.
As Donna transitions into retirement, she plans to spend much more time with her husband, Pat, their two adult children and their spouses, and her granddaughter, Layla. We are so grateful for Donna’s many years of service and wish her nothing but the best in this new chapter of life.
Congratulations, Donna! Your contributions have been immeasurable, and you will be greatly missed by all of us at Truck Service. Enjoy your well-deserved retirement!
